For those who love simplicity and elegance and seek a return to nature, for those who enjoy hearing the sound of silence, for those who love memories, legends and ancient love stories, The Santucce provides just such a setting and will give you an unforgettable experience which only Tuscany is able to offer. This historical covent which dates back to the 1200's, today owned by the Tanganelli family, is situated in the historical town centre of Castiglion Fiorentino. It has been restored meticulously and furnished elegantly respecting the environment and surroundings in which it finds itself.
There are four bedrooms and twelve apartments available. Each apartment has either two or three rooms of various dimensions. Each room/apartment is centrally heated. A lift provides access to the upper floors. A cleaning service is provided as is a change of linen. Breakfast is provided on request.
Painting lessons and guided tours are available for those who wish to pass a relaxing and regenerating holiday in the heart of the green Tuscan hills or, for those who prefer to immerse themselves in art and culture, the privileged position of The Santucce is just an hour's distance from Siena and Florence, only 20 minutes from Arezzo and an even shorter distance from Cortona.
The vast Valdichiana and the surrounding countryside is a fitting position for this corner of paradise which allows one a total sense of peace and tranquility which in today's turbulent times, is not easy to find.
