The entire ground floor could either become one large living area with a central, internal staircase installed, or it could remain as it is, providing two independent apartments. A recent survey confirms that the house is structurally sound, and because it is positioned in an agricultural zone, no new houses can be built in the vicinity.

The surrounding garden of approximately 4000 square metres contains a number of fruit trees, as well as a small swimming pool installed in 1995. There is also an annex of 140 square metres, which is being used as storage, but could also be restored as a habitable structure.
