In the hills above Cortona, in a private setting and with the most amazing views, a newly restored four bedroomed house with swimming pool.


On the first floor there is a large sitting room with a beautiful stone fireplace and one double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with shower.


On the top floor there are two double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms (one with a shower and one with a bath and shower) and one twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom with a shower. All of the rooms are light and spacious and furnished with taste.


On the ground floor there is a large open plan kitchen and dining area leading directly out under a covered portico. There is also a utility/cantina room at the back of the kitchen with a small washroom with wc.


The owner has combined, with great success, the modern with the traditional – bathrooms with black marble and stainless steel accessories only add to the colour and warmth of the hand made terra cotta floor tiles. Many such touches, both old and new, make this house most original and guarantee a relaxing holiday in an environment which combines characteristic charm with all modern comforts.

The outside area has been designed carefully: apart from the abundance of plants and trees which in spring are a riot of colour, one can sit under the portico and enjoy the view which extends out over the Val Tasso and Val Domenico and reaches as far as Gubbio and the Appenines beyond. There is also a beautifully built barbeque.


Within a short drive of approximately two kilometres there is a bar/grocery shop with restaurant, that has all basic provisions (pasta, cheese, milk, bread, water, wine etc...) and within a radius of 10 minutes (in opposite directions) there are two restaurants. Cortona, the beautiful hilltop town, is at a distance of 15 minutes and Camucia with its main line railway station (Rome-Florence-Milan) is at a distance of 25 minutes. All major motorways can be accessed just outside of Camucia making day trips to both Tuscany and Umbria’s major cities very easy – Perugia 50 mins, Assisi 1hr 10 mins, Arezzo 50 mins, Siena 1 hr, Florence 1hr 40 mins. Nearest airports are Perugia 50 mins, Florence 1hr 40 mins, Pisa 2hrs 30 mins, Rome 2hrs 30 mins.
