Who we are

HelpWorksItalia (HWI) is a small Property Services Agency in the Cortona area of Tuscany. It advertises properties for sale on behalf of estate agencies and owners selling direct, promotes owners' direct rentals, provides practical and inexpensive property management solutions, help with restorations, general assistance and a listing of reputable local firms, all recommended, who can be contacted by you directly.

It is based in Camucia di Cortona and its areas of competence include Cortona, Castiglion Fiorentino, Castiglion del Lago, Mercatale and Umbertide.

Alison Koetser who set up HWI in 2006 has a long and varied experience in property and restorations. Her intention is for HWI to help, not hinder which is why she offers efficient, straightforward services at realistic, manageable prices.

Our Directory of Local Advertisers

HelpWorksItalia's aim is to help where it can. If you can speak Italian and prefer the idea of 'going it alone' HWI's Local Directory allows you to contact reliable local artisans, suppliers and small businesses directly. All listings are free and advertisers are either recommended by HWI or by personal client feedback which is displayed on their insertion. Other listings include restaurants, hotels, car hire companies, taxi services, language schools etc...

Feedback

Feedback is a very useful tool, but in order for it to work, it does require participation! HWI's form is very simple to fill in and will only take you a few minutes, but it could make all the difference to someone's business.

Property for Sale

HWI's Sales Directory is a listing of properties either advertised by estate agencies (for which agency fees would be due) or on behalf of owners selling directly (for which no agency fees are due). Both categories are clearly identified on the HWI web site.

If you're considering a direct purchase, HWI offers an optional service at a fixed fee which provides you with translations of all correspondence and meetings, a survey, all contracts and HWI's presence at completion. On request and at no extra cost to you, this service is available when buying through an agency on HWI's website. HWI's Rental Directory is a listing of privately owned properties for rent whose owners can be contacted directly by you.
